Joining a team of scientists and engineers to develop leading edge technologies such as microfluidics, optics, micro-mechanical devices and products such as medical diagnostics, fuel cells, displays, sensors, for a range of markets from healthcare to consumer products.

Experience Postgraduate experience in an industrial or commercial environment preferably in the development of printheads or inks.  A hands-on experimentalist with good analytical skills and a high level knowledge of printhead/ink interactions / experience in imaging and colour science would be an advantage.
Qualifications Ideally qualified to degree in the physical sciences; a PhD would be an advantage.

An experienced systems specialist, with embedded software and medical product development experience.  Joining a project team in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary environment, contributing at all stages of medical device development, ranging from feasibility system design through to regulatory approval. 

This will involve supporting development projects, integrating the latest sensor and actuator technologies with software-driven platforms, including microcontrollers, microprocessors and DSP’s.

Experience knowledge and experience in embedded systems and software with all aspects of the software lifecycle.  Ability in coding with C/C++ and knowledge of new sensor and actuator technologies beneficial along with Matlab, and UML specification and design
Qualifications Ideally degree in physical sciences/engineering with experience of developing embedded systems for medical devices
